Miss Gilbert appeared to the Committee to be a good candidate. She is well equipped in the subjects required, and was very intelligent in the questions which she asked the Committee. She is at present in a very good Secondary School where she is well spoken of. She seemed to the Committee likely to prove a successful

teacher in this post.
